Commercial Licensing of the Images

These images may be licensed for commercial, editorial, and educational use.

 

Fees

  • License fees for traditional media depend on the particular image selected and the usage of the image, including the size the image will be reproduced at, the type of publication, number of copies printed, distribution, language rights, number of editions, etc.
  • License fees for use on commercial web pages are based on the placement of the image, whether they are used on the main or secondary pages, size used, length of time used, and number of hits the page would take.
  • Please include this information if known when requesting a quote.

     

Resolution Available

  • High resolution (approximately 15 - 18 megabytes) digital original files, suitable for reproduction at 8.5 x 11 inches at 250 pixels per inch.
  • Specify the resolution you need


File Formats

  • High resolution digital image files
  • PC, Mac, Unix compatible
  • TIFF recommended, but whatever you need can be delivered


Advantages of Digital Images

  • Digital files actually provide many advantages because they are already in digital form.They do not have to be scanned, resulting in cost savings.

  • Liability issues resulting from lost or damaged irreplaceable film originals are not a concern.

  • Images can be previewed, and files can be transmitted immediately over the internet for those "ASAP" jobs, resulting in additional cost savings.

  • A digital grayscale step wedge is also included with each image for calibration and correct tonal and color reproduction.

  • Immediate download from the internet via FTP
  • Federal Express with your account number
